Life and stuff.
Jeez, I haven't updated since the middle of the summer! What is wrong with me?
-Saw Inception blah blah it was cool blah blah blah. Basically everything to say about this movie was said a long time ago. Although, out of all the movies I've seen so far this year, Toy Story 3 has to be the one I enjoyed the most. Definitely getting that one for my iPod.
-Towards the end of the summer I discovered Gankutsuo (oh jeez I know I spelled that wrong). It's the anime version of The Count of Monte Cristo with lots of added mecha and LSD and a blue vampire elf that is very creepy (and kinda hot). And to make it even more ridiculous, I actually found it through a Cracked article about "nine great creative works bastardized by Japan". I think this one was number five or four or something. Yeah. Now I wanna read the original novel, too. I'll have to make a point to check it out from the library sometime.
-Super Scribblenauts comes out today! I don't think I've mentioned it, before, but a few months ago my little brother wanted to go to Gamestop for something and I was actually planning on buying the original Scribblenauts. Once I asked the employee about it, he told me there was another one coming out in October, so I decided to wait and now I'm really glad I did. Being able to use adjectives to enhance the items that I think up is really gonna be fun! I'll be getting it later today. Can't wait!
-Epic Mickey. Words cannot describe how much I need to have this game. It looks freaking fantastic. I'm gonna start saving immediately after I buy Super Scribblenauts this evening. Seeing the movie intro and then a few clips of gameplay eliminated all doubt from me. DO WANT.
-Life After Lies is going well. Got seventeenth chapter done in a little more than two months. I know, that's still incredibly slow, but hey, at least I know I'm making progress. I have about a thousand words on my computer so far, and the rest of the first draft's sitting in my notebook, itching to be typed. I actually got the draft done last week, but the weekend was really busy. I really consider Chapter 17 to be the major turning point of the story. For good or bad? Well, you'll just have to find out.
-Like I said before, this last weekend was super busy but so. Much. Fun. Went to Magic Mountain with some friends on Saturday. They had the park all done up for Halloween and I really enjoyed riding Colossus backwards! We actually got a decent amount of rides done, too. On Sunday my mom and I attended the wedding of some church friends and had a fantastic time. I still feel kinda tired from all of that crazy dancing I did with the other teens. The ceremony and setting were just lovely, but not as lovely as the bride herself in that gorgeous dress of hers. ♥
-I really need rent the original Tron sometime before seeing Tron: Legacy, just because I feel like I need to see the original. Also, it's kinda sad that the Tangled spam party is kinda dead right now. Hopefully, it'll get back to being active sometime soon. Maybe I should go hunt down some new information and post it to see if I can revive it.
Well, I think that's enough typing for now. I feel like making a chocolate shake. Yummy! :D
