Penn St.

I spent the weekend up in Pennsylvania, at Penn St. University. I went primarily for a b-boy jam called the 4 Elements of Expression, but I also went because I had never seen the town and wanted to see what another Big Ten school felt like. I drove my new car, which was a black Prius hybrid. Holy money saving gas mileage batman! 50 miles per gallon is quite something.

At the jam, I met up with a lot of the New York and Philadelphia dancers, as well as Morris, Airsick, and Ground Zero Crew. Let me tell ya, the Ground Zero guys are pretty funny crazy. Like...there's regular crazy, and there's "what planet are you from?" crazy. Hilarious though. Zoob battled wearing a Captain Hook-style pirate mustache, and with short green khakis and long socks. He looked like a 1960s Austin Powers bad guy.

The jam was held on the same weekend as the Penn St. Arts Festival. It was nuts! So many people. I really wished I had brought my photo camera. I'll probably write up a big post about the event on the Strife blog, when I find some photos to leech from. Haha, I think the organizer's sister took some photos.

I drove back from the jam with Rex and Maresco the day after. I'll be posting footage soon. I got a lot of things going on at the moment, so I'm multi-tasking like crazy.

Also, Loan and Peter have been trying to get me to fly out to Los Angeles with them in August to hit up the Rock The Bells hip hop festival, as well as Freestyle Session West Coast prelims. I wish I could go, but probably don't have any money for that kind of weekend splurging. Ah, too bad.
