This weekend's highlights included partying at
Modern with the LOZ Party Squad and...that was about it. I suppose my weekend could have been more packed with things to do, but with a party as epic as it was (as seen above), it takes a lot of time to recover. We were dancing, and dancing, and we were dancing. I guess that's the kind of atmosphere you get at clubs when you're attending a bboy sponsored party, yeah? My film friends Ian and Havoc both came, and it looked like they had a blast. They were telling me how they've been in D.C. for years, but never went to a party like this. All credits go out to b-boy Ghost for putting this up!
After waking up late on Sunday, I went out to the Korean district for some
budae jjigae (부대찌개). It's one of my favorite Korean foods because it is virtually a big hot pot with a bunch of things thrown inside, and with a generous portion of chili paste. I am really getting into eating stews these days. They are all healthy, with loads of meats & vegetables.
Winter Olympics
I just watched the last day of the Winter Olympics. The hockey match between USA vs Canada was dramatic! Wow. Who would have thought USA could score with 30 seconds left in regulation to send the game to sudden death. The final result was 3-2 Canada, but it was still a great game. Canada is one of those countries where it is really hard to dislike them. I mean, like...seriously, who really dislikes Canada except for the writers of South Park? And the Canadian national anthem? I am starting to like their national anthem, too. It sounds like something you can sing at a frat party at 4 am in the morning, and get people all riled up.

I'm embedding this video because I haven't seen something like this done besides the "
Smack My Bitch Up" music video by The Prodigy. I also posted this video because...well, I will be working with Ian to build a helmet rig "b-boy cam" this week. Yup, we will attempt to attach a small HD wide-angled camera to a helmet. Imagine the b-boy stories we can tell with this kind of filming! Cloud did
something like this a year ago, during a dance sequence. But what I am visualizing is something from the morning, starting with a bowl of Cheerios, to dancing at a jam, to a nighttime eatings at Denny's. Ideas galore!
