Friday Night

After practice last night, we went out to eat some samgyeopsal (삼겹살).

We usually practice from 5:30 pm to 10 pm, and by that time...your stomach starts to feel it! Sometimes we go out to eat, sometimes we go our separate ways. The dilemma is that the subway closes at 12:30 am, thus one has to make a critical decision on whether to stay, eat & drink, or leave quickly to grab the subway back home. But this past Friday, we didn't really care because we had plans to be out all night anyways.

By the way, I would like to acknowledge that I haven't cut my hair for 2 1/2 months, which is a new record.

Last night went something like this:
--practice at T.I.P. studio
--samgyeopsal dinner
--hanging out at Virus's lounge
--visiting the Han river
--playing video games, shooting zombies, air hockey and other stupid things at Sincheon
--crashing out at Virus's crib



Alright, so Virus is like the bboy with the most business sense in Korea. Not only is he a famous bboy, but he also owns three lounges. Trois! 삼! 三！Three! The place near the T.I.P. studio is called Led. It is super posh, with various private rooms and lots of cool led lights. There is a general dance floor in the middle, and according to Virus, T.I.P. sometimes practice their showcases there, just so they can see the crowd's reaction to certain moves. Smart thinking actually....

I want everyone to check out the video above. Dyzee and I arrived at Virus's pad at 5:30 am, and were blown away by the amount of clothes he had. He turned his living room into a closet! He wasn't joking when he said, "My place is messy, there is no place to sleep in the living room." We were both a little tipsy from soju drinking by that time, but we decided it was necessary to make a Bboy Cribs episode of Virus's pad. Apparently we were the first ever non-Koreans in his apartment. We felt so honored!
