You know how when you were at school it was crazy busy during the term then half term arrived and you did nothing all day and the world was a shiny place? Apparently, my life doesn't like this system anymore.
Half term mornings from 10 - 12: Holiday club at church. Keeping children in line, arguing with the "director" and trying not to throw things at the drummer. But it was fun and I got paid. £250 for the week which I think roughly equates to £25 per hour. I will take that wage and I will love it.
Evenings: Big! The Musical! The show itself started at half seven and finished at ten but as Nick and I needed to be there at six, we left the house at around four to get the train and pick up some food on the way. We got back home at midnight every night, except Saturday when Mum and Dad came to see the show and drove us home so we all got back around eleven.
It was a crazy busy week. Now I'm sat at home again, receiving rejection letters, and lost for things to do.
I think I have found my perfect career, and alas it is not something that I can apply for really. It is something that I'll probably fall into. Hopefully not literally as falling into an orchestra pit would be painful. They are surprisingly deep and, unsurprisingly, full of electrical bits and instruments.
So yeah. Hope you guys are doing well out there, wherever you are :) xXx
