this was absolutely amazing. i love the thought adn the attention to detail in every scene. i love that all this is something that ellen might want, john and the boys as part of her life, especially being a sort of mother to sam and dean.

i also love the sense of creeping wrongness towards the end. that there is something slightly off. i kept brushing it off, but was waiting for it to all fall apart as well, because this is the winchesters and they do not get the happy endings. which is why at the reveal my brain went yes because that actually made sense, you know.

still, the line right before the piece where ellen wakes up is Ellen feels so safe and loved. which makes it all that more gutwrenching, that in contrast to what she wakes up to. it makes that last line perfect, as heartbreaking as it is.

um sorry for the long ramble.i just really enjoyed reading your story. thank you very much for writing this.

p.s. also love the combination of the note and the authors notes on the end.

i really dont mind the long reply :D i love the glimpse into your writing process for this because it was a wonderful idea executed brilliantly.

the truth was you didn't lie to us but we got sucked in anyways whihc proves you did a good job.
