So I'm rewatching the series, and I've made some adjustments to the list.
For the rest of you, I challenged my friends list to come up with one song per episode. Not a song per character and not one used in the show. Also not the title track. But something that captures what you take away from that single episode.

But "the man in the back" could be the YED and "the girl in the corner" could be Jess.

This song reminds me of Nightmare on Elm Street, so the title "Nightmare" made it match in my brain. But it does truly match Max and what we later learn is the YED's MO. So it's the YED's singing about and to Sam and the children like him...

This is just a kickass Demon Hunting Gone Wrong song.... And sealed in a cabin with the YED in John, killing Dean so you end up choosing between shooting Dad or letting him kill Dean? That is a Hunt Gone Wrong. Even before the semi-truck shows up.
