yes there is a story explaining the phone book....
As most of you know my flight test was at 7am....the oral went well (minus a break down in the middle - oh well the guy was nice) Then came the flight part....everything went pretty well couldn't see much cause of all the haze/mist ::shakes fist:: but managed.....the biggest problem was the fact that my seat was broken...and couldn't go higher so i could barely see above the dash... ::shakes fist:: Because of this i couldn't land the plane AT ALL i mean these landings were worse than when i first started learning that's how bad they were....So the guy had to fail me....
In order to retake a test i need to fly with an instructor..i squeezed into the tinest spot adam had...and took a phone book with me...I used the book to sit on the to see over the dash.....Landings were good - traffic pattern a little iffy
After adam and i went up I went with the examiner and the landings were BEAUTIFUL!!! at the end the examiner said "I didn't even wake up!" (from the daze he was in) it was AMAZING!!!!!
