Awesome news!
Well Ben called me tonight and told me that his parents got new living room furniture. That's exciting because I get to have their old couch for free!!!! Yay! Granted, the color is ugly. I am going to invest in a slipcover though since I don't have to pay for the couch. I don't know when I am getting it, but it is exciting. I want a blue slipcover too. For some reason, blue is my obsession color in this apartment. But it isn't crazy with blue. Just a few things are.
So I have already had 3 tests. I finally found out today how I did on the one I took Friday. I got an 87. Good, but for some reason, I expected to do better. I guess I shouldn't complain. I will get the calculations exam I took today back tomorrow. It was pretty easy. I am hoping I got a 100. I know those are high expectations, but I wasn't stumped on any of the questions and they were so easy. I still don't know how I did on my Physiology test I took on Monday. Maybe I will find out tomorrow. I have been studying for my biochem test I have on Tues. And it is only Wednesday! :) I like being on top of things. Of course, that is my next test I have to take. I don't want to spend all day Sunday studying and after class on Monday studying. I want to have my Monday afternoon to review and relax. I made a whole boatload of notecards tonight. I have already gone through so many notecards. I think Ben is home working to pay for my notecards for the semester.........
So I guess the past 4 weeks have been dragging on for Ben because he has been missing me. I miss him too, but the past four weeks have flown by for me. After Friday, I will have 2 years and 9 months until I get my Pharm.D. Yes, the countdown is already on. It was on right from day 1. Not that I hate school. I actually enjoy most of my classes. Even my service learning class (aka volunteering for credits). Even though the prospect of going to the old people home for 2 hours a week does not excite me, it is fun when I get there. It's just one of those situations where I don't feel like getting off my duff and going somewhere that isn't class.
I think I am going to go celebrate my free couch by making myself a mint chocolate chip ice cream sundae with dove dark chocolate sauce and chocolate sprinkles........yuuuuuuummmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmy!
