I never post here, but I do have a post at another blog
I wrote up a Friday Five post on the Arch Editing blog. I wrote about five British comedies (well, one of them is Canadian), and they were really the first five that came to mind, but now I just want to watch most of them for the rest of the weekend.
We went to see Arcade Fire on Monday! That was the highlight of my week, really. It was in Orem and Haley, Jasie, and I went and I had sooooo much fun. I fucking love their concerts and all of their new songs sound so amazing live. I needed to go to an amazing concert, I'm so happy they FINALLY came back to Utah. I hate that their concerts are so short, though.
I went back to school and work this last week, and since I haven't worked for the last month this week I picked up a lot of hours. I'm only going to two classes but they're at the beginning and the end of the day so with classes and work I ended up having 12 hour days Monday through Thursday. I'm so fucking tired. This week has been cold and wet, but it could have been worse. Of course since I'm not leaving the house today it's the most beautiful day of the week.
Next week is the PCA/ACA conference! YAY! I finally get to geek out over my favorite shows with academic geeks. I haven't done shit to prepare for presenting my paper, so that's a bit worrying. I should get started on that.
I'm sorry, those last two paragraphs were super boring. That Friday Five post is way more interesting.
