So on the second day of the new semester I got really sick. I had an awful sore throat and I got physically exhausted pretty quickly so I went home early. It got worse the next day. I can barely swallow anything because my throat is so tender and sore. I have to brace myself for the pain everytime I swallow something. I also have a never ending headache and fever. I went to the Student Health Center today and it's not strep, and they tested for mono and it was negative, but it still might be mono. :( If it's mono I'll basically have to drop out of school this semester and finish next fall or spring, so I hope it's a virus that I'll get over next week.

I have an abcess in my throat (eeeeewwww) so I'm on antibiotics. I also have a steroid to decrease the swelling in my throat and I got some serious painkillers so I might be able to sleep for more than an hour or two.

I have never been in this much pain while sick, this is so awful. I'm also not allowed to go to school or work for the next week or so.
