look out world cuz here I come!
I got everything I wanted for christmas. It's interesting because this is the first year that I would have been debilitatingly disappointed if I didn't get something that was on my list. The logical part of my brain of course would have thought - well, they are big items, and you have college coming up, and expensive trips already planned for next year - But then the other part of my brain would have screamed "You turned 18! You didn't ask for much! you deserve to be a little selfish!" And we all know that side of my brain would have won. My parents gave me a cell phone and our older family car for my birthday - for those of you who I hadn't told already. I got humongo bottles of shampoo - I actually asked for that. And among other things... My ipod!!! wehoo! I've been doing nothing but loading it, and revising some stuff I don't really want on there, and listening for the last several days. Well. Actually. I did do something else today - I got my drivers license. Had to take the driving test and everything - cuz my drivers ed certificate has expired - over a year old. I had to parallel park - but apparently that wasn't my challenge. anyway the dude told me I barely passed - something tells me he says that a lot. He was actually a lot easier than my drivers ed instructor - which isn't saying much because I hated the guy. Anyway I'm mobile now - when my parents aren't "borrowing" my car - so call me! on my new cell! (email me for my #) Haha even though I prlly won't hear it ring cuz I'll be listening to my ipod! 30 GB of pure bliss... *floats*
