Accomplishments this past week
I had a lot of motivation this week. Really felt excited for this adventure I'm on, rather than feeling burdened. I picked more filling foods to eat so I didn't feel starved after meals. I'm surprised by how much I worked out this past week. This past week I did:
Leg Strengthening exercises - 2x
Walked (for 30 minutes or more)- 3x
Workout Videos - 3x
Also, I've been pretty positive this whole past week. Let's hope this lasts.
Challenges
-Finding time & energy to exercise after work AND make dinner, instead of a microwave meal.
-Finding more time for my leg strengthening exercises, my knees need to be stronger so I can do more cardio.
-Remembering to stop saying “yes” when someone offer me free food or treat at work. That one is tough since my desk is right next to the kitchen. Plus free chocolate everywhere is tempting. I was good all week, then today there was free chocolate on the counter, I grabbed a piece, not even thinking. Not that I am depriving myself of chocolate, (because, um, NO!) but I had my food planned for the day, and I was going to wait until after today's meeting to treat myself to some chocolate. That's ok, I took my reward early.
Goals for this week
-Make wiser choices when eating out.
-Make exercise a priority, not an “if I have the time.”
