wow
what a week, what a week.
funeral was thurs. it turned out really well. everything went so smooth. the family ended the day all going back to the house. the grandkids all slid down the hill and skated on the lake. i think jeff's dad would have enjoyed that.
had another epidural injection on fri. i am excited for all of that to kick in again.
today was jeff's 47th b-day. he is now officially 10 years older than i once again ( i don't let him forget it). he looks pretty good for an old fart. don't ya think? his sister stopped by, my parents came over and dad was all gung ho on taking us out to dinner. we went to the old counrty buffet (only the best for us). lol
we had fun with mom and dad. they are truly just s dorky as we are.
yesterday, mr. dork and i went to el loro and had a jumbo texas margarita and then went to target to go clearance shopping. jeff was all "hun, that is not exactly something i think to do after i get a lil buzz". i am all "come on baby, it is fun. cathy and i do it.....you are my cathy today". wouldn't you know it, we were giggling and goofin around in target being the dorks that we are. see.....it does not take much to entertain dorks like us. we are simple folk.
