(no subject)
ok. so sandy isn't as bad as i thought she was... and i don't hate her guts. it turns out that the potential roommate went to the apartment to meet my housemates. they talked for a while and the guy left. sandy told me that neil said that he felt a little iffy about the guy, especially since the guy had such a big problem with my housemates smoking. so my housemates were going back and forth on the matter when the guy called to see what their decision was... neil picked up the phone and tried to let the guy down easily. instead of telling him that they didn't want to let him sublease the place because they didn't like him, neil resorted to the "sandy only wants a girl" excuse. then sandy said the guy started yelling... so oookay then... that's that.
the roommate situation is still up in the air; nothing's settled yet and i'm still looking for someone to take over my room. but at least it seems that sandy's lightened up... she said that she'd PREFER a girl, but if the guy's cool, then she guesses it's ok. RELIEF. especially since i haven't found any girls willing to stay with two guys they don't know.
other than this, no new news to report. how's everybody doing? i'm currently in san diego visiting honey bunny... we got up at the butt-crack of 6am to get ready for school (i went with him to his pharmacology and human molecular genetics classes). later we'll probably go fishing... woohoo! for some reason, i get immense satisfaction from cleaning the fish that we've caught (not as much satisfaction as feeling a fish catch on and reeling it up though :p). i taught mike how to clean fish last week so now he can feel the satisfaction that i feel too :)
my room's a mess... but it's slowly getting better. though the townhouse my momma bought a few years ago is fairly new and is rather spacious, there's a serious lack of storage space
