MCRmy Meet-up Details for this Thurs and Fri!
This is pretty long, so I LJCut it. Cos...idk, I'm weird and I don't like too long posts without cuts. Habit of lurking in too many comms I think, lol!
Anyway, the Rmy meet-up is open to everyone! Stop by, even if you're not going to the show! It's gonna be a blasty blast! =D
Important stuff is in red, in case you don't feel like reading it all :)

Meet up Times:
Thursday show- 8am-4pm (front of Congress)
Friday show- 9am-4pm (front of Congress)
These meet ups are for you to come by stick around for a bit, pick up goodies, and find out what time we are doing activities. You cannot stay up front with the Rmy in order to cut. Sorry! Around 4 pm people must start heading back to their respective spots.
After Show Meet Ups:
*Thursday night by buses (roughly 10:30- whenever the hell all the members we can get have come out). Buses will most likely be parked at a lot near the end of the block, they should not be hard to find.
*Friday night by buses. Same deal as Thursday night.I'll be there for a bit to say hi and meet people who could not hang out earlier in the day in the line.
How will I find the Rmy?
Easy. We'll have a few ballons (white,black,red) to help you spot us in line. Once you see that, don't be shy. Just come up and say you are in the Rmy and hang out.
What's the plan?
Thus far I'd like to make the pre-show wait like a mini-block party for the Rmy. We'll have music (boom box, bring cds), food, games, etc. We know the show is gonna rock but so should before and after the show.
Activities (roughly 11am-3pm):
*Twister (a little cheesy, but it should be a fun way to pass some time)
*MCR Trivia Game- Five people can play this, make sure you brush up on your MCR knowledge.
*MCR Bingo- this is not a done deal yet, but we may be playing it on Friday.
We'll also have more formal intros and stuff when we get bigger groups throughout the day. There is also talk of doing some free association drawing to MCR music.
Prizes:
*All 6 issues of the Umbrella Academy (this is one prize)
*MCR grab bag- a random array of MCR goodies including a small poster, pin, and Black Parade character stickers.

Eats:

Chicago MCRmy Stickers:
I'm trying VERY hard to get these printed in time for the shows. Matt's armyband design and our current gunswirl default by Tessy will be the designs. I'd also like a couple people to help me pass out stickers to the line before we go in. Just let me know when you get there if you can help. I will also have the last of the Rmy pins to give out, sorry no more armbands.
Please post the time that you expect to be arriving at the show(s).
