new here and in need of advice/inspiration
Hi! what a great timing: this group is in the spotlight just as i am in need of a birthday present for a pen pal! :D
so... here's the thing: my pen pal's birthday is on june 3rd and i want to give her something that shows how grateful i am for our friendship (as well as i'd feel so bad if i gave her nothing now that i know that she'll give me something she found in the beatles store in London (am a huge beatles-fan... so it's a big thing for me!)). Btw. i'm from Denmark and she's from Germany.
What i've figured this far about what i want to give her:
- i want to MAKE something for her (i'm not a big fan of just buying something pretty and wrapping it up in colorful paper)
- it must not be food, candy, beer, soda (which bascially means that i can't give her anything from my city as we are famous for marzipan, chocolate and beer.... and Hans Christian Andersen but he sucks so i forget him on purpose).
- i don't want to just decorate a box/notebook with nice pictures and stuff as i gave her that for Christmas.
Besides that i think i'm.... lost. So... does anybody have any cool and creative ideas for what i could make for my pen pal or at least give me inspiration for something?
