It was the best day of Edmund Pevensie's life. He had found the love of his life -- the true love of his life -- and they were going to get married. It was the only thing to do after all. They couldn't very well just sit on these emotions when he felt as though he might burst from happiness.
So wrapped up in his thoughts about Luna, Edmund hardly thought of anything else, not even his own sister until he all but ran into her in the kitchen. But Susan! Of course he had to talk to her. She had to be the matron of honor.
"Su!" he said brightly, setting aside his cup of tea and accosting his sister once she was through the door of the kitchen. "Su, I've got brilliant news." He paused as though to let the suspense build, but he couldn't handle it himself and blurted out: "I'm getting married!"
