So let me get this straight...Mom of three Irish boys, and we all know what that means, homemaker, seamstress, wife, and general world wide encourager and you are disheartened because someone who has nothing but time does something that you like better than something you have done? "BUT on a bad day... all you see is every one else's Show Pieces and they start to chink away at your own confidence. You forget thyat either A) they have spent HOURS in practice every day for years ( some since they were old enough to hold apencil) OR B) that these 5 amazing pieces of artwork they are show casing are the Best of their Best and they threw out the 50 other pieces of ASS that they will never admit or show to others!" So if you can write with this clarity of understanding then maybe YOU NEED TO CUT YOURSELF SOME SLACK! there, just my emphatic 2 cents worth. Have a better day, go kiss your kids, hug your husband and remember alll the friends you have who care about you the person and see the art as an appealing add on. Which is better to be a success as a person who draws or to be a reputed artist who no one can stand to be in the room with? You can be a successful person and a successful artist, but like everything else worth doing in this world it requires a sense of balance.
