Awesome weekend.
Where does one start!!!!
Friday night was great! Wacky_Chick gave hubby and I the most WONDERFUL gift! She baby sat our kids!!! Why? Because she also gave us tickets to go see Sugarland at the Saddledome. ( Barely contains squeal) NOW, I didn't tell hubby! It is so seldom i can surprise him with out-ings and Dates that I love the thrill of being able to secret things away. He was THRILLEDDDD!!!!
Miranda Lambert opened. And she was a wonderful bouncy curvy thing. Lots of energy. BUT she didn't compare energy wise to Sugarland. ( listening to the website as I write this) Was an amazing night rounded off with walking through the midway. Deep fried Coke ( have to try everything at least once!), saltwater taffy, cotton candy, fireworks and hubby. ( warm glow) There are no "thanks" big enough to express what this gift really meant to Shane and I. The night together... no horde.. and the opportunities to see and experience life together!
Then was Joel and Ronya's Annual BBQ. Bruce the Almighty arrived with his Bag of Bars that sung holy choirs of DOOOM when he opened it! It was luverly! Ya know... . it honestly doesn't need stories. Their party's are well known enough that you can well imagine!
:) Sunday was a wonderful day of slothfully cleanup. Ending with a well deserved soak in the EMPTIED AND REFILLED hot tub. Ronya and I sat in there watching storms roll over head threatening. Patterns of clouds ranging from blatant phalics to rabbit ears and one huge Genie. The Gods were in art class and having a ball. We just sat and applauded their brush strokes.
