I'm getting tired of people asking after the hawks. If you really want to know, myself and a friend released them. Chaining birds up so you can use them is a travesty and I won't allow it while I'm here. They deserve to fly free and hunt as they will.

You're welcome for the taste of freedom in this dreary place.

Oh, good. I was afraid it was the beginning of something terrible.

[At least they aren't cardinals.]

Hardly. They're hawks. Of course they're going to want to eat.

It is not the first time that a swarm of... hungry birds appeared as a catalyst for something greater.

Really? How unfortunate.

It was very kind of you to release the hawks, but I suppose a little warning would have been appreciated.

Warning? What for?

To... prevent others from panicking unnecessarily?

[Iramaat quit making her feel dumb.]

If they panic, isn't it their own fault for making unfounded assumptions?

Not if they had a good reason from past experience.

They're still making assumptions and they're still allowing fear to overcome them. Not my fault.

Still, a warning would have been nice.

I'll take that under consideration.
