Sign-ups for the 2011 Homestuck Gift Exchange are now open, and will remain so until 11:59 EST on October 19th (you can check when that is in your timezone here). By signing up you're committing to completing one gift for your assigned recipient by December 22nd. For those who need a reminder, the minimum requirement for a gift in this exchange is either 1000 proofread words of fic, or one cleaned and inked piece of artwork.

Spread the word to your friends if you have any who are into the comic, the more people the merrier!

Also, though there will be a post centered on it in a moment, I just wanted to put up a reminder that more pinch hitters are always incredibly welcome

The Form Just copy and paste it into a comment then fill in the blanks.

Your Name: (I need your AO3 name, or what you plan for it to be if you haven't made an account yet, but providing your livejournal/dreamwidth/anything else along those lines will give your gift maker more to look at if they want to learn more about what you'd like)
Your Email Address: (This will remain private. Make sure that it's an address you check often, because your assignment will be coming to it, and if your artist/writer has any questions for you it's the address I'll use to get them to you.)

Request #1
Characters/Pairing: ('Any' is fine)
Situation: (Try to give your gift-giver something to work with here; an 'Anything' request makes a lot of people freeze up with indecision, while outlining every last detail of an idea can freeze them up just as badly by making them afraid that any of their own creative additions will end up disappointing you)
Request #2
Characters/Pairing:

Request #4
Crossover With: (Optional, if you don't want to make a crossover request just delete this bit and fill in the rest of the request like all the others. As a reminder, you can only make one crossover request but if you do only your first three requests will be used in matching; it'll be a matter of luck whether your requests go to someone who knows the crossover fandom or not)
Characters/Pairing:
Situation:

You'd Prefer to Receive: (Fic/Art/No Preference)
Content Preferences: (Any preferences you have for the content of all your requests, whether good or bad, goes here. If you love humor, have a thing for dysfunctional relationships, or adore fluff, say so here. Or if there's something that triggers you, a character you'd really rather didn't show up even in passing, or a genre you're not really into put that here to. Be respectful in your phrasing! Saying you're not really into a kink/pairing/random background detail is enough; if you look at what you've written and realize it would bum you out if your recipient wrote the same thing about your own favorite scenario that should be your clue to rewrite because you might be about to put your creator in that same position.)

I Intend to Create: (Fic/Art/I can do either)
Characters/Pairings/Things I'd Have the Easiest Time With: (Optional; I'll do my absolute best to make sure that everyone is matched with something you'd really like to write or draw instead of just something you don't specifically not want to do, but I can't guarantee it so you're free to skip this section if you'd like. However, since last year I was able to match everyone who filled out this section with someone who'd listed at least two prompts that fit their preferences I'd definitely recommend it!)
Characters/Pairings/Things I Can't Work With: (Think hard about this; if, say, you can't make anything containing graphic violence but forget to say so and end up with four requests for different characters being mutilated, you won't be able to contest it.)
