Christmas Shopping
Christmas shopping is all done! Spent Friday after work at the mall, got mom and nieces and nephews all done. Wrapped presents saturday morning since my nephew was spending the night and you can't exactly hide a 3.5ft remote control lincoln navigator in the closet. I still have 5 presents to wrap for the fam in El Paso, but that can be done during the week. No rush...of course i spent most of today cleaning since Hurricane Cristian went through my whole apartment and left all sorts of debris on the carpet and floors.
just 4 days to go...Then it's family road trip time. one day to drive down to El Paso, spend Christmas eve visiting gradpa and extended family (aunts, uncles, cousins, etc.) get up early xmas day and drive all day...
No clue when we'll get back...it's a wing it kind of trip...and of course..get to El paso...sleep one night and drive back to dfw on Jan 2nd probably...rest on the 3rd and back to the grind on the 4th for a short 3 day week and recoup from all the driving. Been a long while since i've been on a week long road trip. This aught to be good.
