Moving at the speed of light

I was just thinking today of how far I've come in my life, and how ambitious I'm being with my post-graduate plans. I was talking to a good friend of mine today about how much there is to see and do out there in the world, and how I want to go out there and do stuff. I was looking into travelling to all these places, but there's something very different between working somewhere foreign and visiting that same place. I want to work in Europe after grad school, not because I'm totally hooked, but because it's also freaking awesome. It's a pretty lofty goal, but I'm pretty invested in it, and I've been looking into ways to do it. I'm a little worried that I'll be ridiculously busy this year, though, between work, my Master's degree, and planning to teach overseas somehow. We'll see how it goes. I don't even care how much work I have to do to get to that goal, though, because it would be so incredibly worth it.

I was looking at a program today in Budapest, Hungary, where I'd be teaching English. How cool is that. No matter where I go in Europe, it'd be awesome. There are programs in Budapest, Prague, Italy, Spain, all kinds of places. I'm going for it, and I'm so excited to see what the future brings. I don't know where I'll be a year from now, and it's both scary and exhilarating at the same time. It's exciting to think that you can go anywhere you want. It'll be an interesting next few years....
