these crazy years
So it's been a while since I've updated this thing....well, about a month.....close enough. Anywho, life's been a bit hectic, even after the 'after show' lull that always happens. Tony and I are back together. =D. So that's exciting. I taught my first full-length (40 minute) lesson a little while ago, which was exciting. I'm done with observations now, so I can finally sleep in, but I kind of miss my class that I helped out in. It was nice to be able to answer questions about what they're doing and get to know them, even though they weren't a very lively class.
I spent Easter with my mom's side of the family today, which was nice. I haven't been down there to see all of them together at the same time in a few years, and my little cousins were so much fun. It was hard, though, to only be able to spend about a day and a half with my mom. I hate having to divide my time between them now. It's hard enough to get out here and spend time with them, and adding to that having to split my time just isn't fun at all. I always feel like I never have enough time. The breaks are never long enough, it seems. But it was nice to spend time with both my mom and my dad this weekend, if only for a few days each.
So then it's back to school tomorrow, assuming my car decides to work.....it didn't want to go in reverse when I was leaving my mom's apartment today....so that was fun. So hopefully I'll get home okay tomorrow, and not get stuck on the thruway. That would suck hardcore.
