Trick or Treat, Halloween is Sweet
It is that time of year again. The fall air, the leaves, the pumpkins and scarecrows. I love this season. It makes me happy.(Yes, I said happy) On cool evenings my husband makes a fire in the outdoor fire pit and we talk about stuff. Nothing important, just stuff. This also makes me happy. (yes, I did said happy, again) My kids are excited about halloween and their costumes and I'm excited about making them. This year it will be a disco rollerskater with fro and boombox inspired by the movie "Roll Bounce" and Spongebob. Which I tried desperately to change to Cleopatra or Dorothy, but to no avail. Spongebob it is. It's all about the kids though, is'nt it? (Curses, who would have thought a beautiful girl like you could spoil my beautiful wickedness!) Any Who , Since I am feeling a bit better and trying hard to enjoy life I will take it all in stride and enjoy my rollerskater and spongebob! Halloween has always been one of my favorite holidays. I love the parties, the trick or treating, the decorations and the little frights. (not the big ones. I am a chicken) Carving a pumpkin is also part of ther fun. Although I always end up doing most of the work. I like to make a scary face, hollow it out and then put a strobe light in it. Cool! We also make a non-scary, non-carved one for Boy Scouts. They have a contest every year and If I may boast, we always win! Our costumes usually win first place as well. (Sha!) This year I think we shall be the 3 Blind mice again. (since no one saw it two years ago). Although with us it's more like the Three Stooges. Happy Halloween to all and to all a good Trick or Treating,
