This was Halloween
Another halloween has come and gone and another year is coming to an end. It seems as though once halloween is over it's just about Christmas. Time goes by so quickly, especially in the fall. I spent hours upon days preparing for the big day(or days),sewing, baking and carving. This year my son was Nacho Libre and my little one was Peter Pan. The costumes came out great. My son even won 1st place for his costume. Our pumpkin was the chiquita banana lady, she also won a prize! All in all it was worth the stress, it always is. Its one of my true joys. Like finding that perfect Christmas gift, having the best birthday party or planning the perfect vacation. I love it and wouldn't have it any other way. I know my kids wouldn't either.(smiling to myself) I guess Thanksgiving will be at my house again. Not that I mind. I like playing the hostess. I just wish I was more like the hostess with the mostess(money wise I mean).
