Who needs a school sponsered Cotillion when you have a Commuter Cotillion?

So this weekend was pretty great. I know that I really say that about all my weekends but I can't help it if it's true. The return of volleyball was on Friday after about a three week hiatus. I love playing volleyball but I think my tiredness on Friday coupled by my frustration with how jerky some people are, really was not a good combination and resulted in me becoming very passive-aggressive. Whatever, I need to learn how to relax more at volleyball and not let people get under my skin as much. Unfortunately, I won't be able to try this out next week because it's Countdown Saturday so they're going to have to set Kuch up on Friday. Yeah, so yesterday was fun. I went out to lunch with De and Dani to Panera which by the way completely rocks my socks! Then Mom and I went to the library. Of course I was late getting ready for Commuter Cotillion and didn't actually get there until 7 partly because I had to stop at stupid Walmart to pick up drinks. The food last night was amazing complete with awesome meatballs, a pretzel platter, and fruit dip that was so good it should be illegal. Jess, Erica, Jennie, and I set up Heinz lobby with lava lamps and our glowing sign (which was molested by the guys who thought they were clever switching around Commuter Cotillion to sexual words), it actually looked surprisingly good. Everyone looked so nice and there was lots of dancing mostly by the girls and Dave, not so much by the other guys. Jess made an awesome mix of songs that we would never hear at a regular Arcadia dance because they were not all rap songs or crappy techno that they randomly play sometimes :) Dave demonstrated the seizure and did it multiple times for us upon request. Jennie was a great Cotillion date and she, Dave, and I were dancing until the end even after mostly everyone left except for Angie and her friends. There were a few unexpected appearances but I think everyone had a blast. We had so much food left over it was ridiculous. We didn't play Murderball but we still had so much fun. Good times with a great group of people :)
