Just got back from philadelphia today! I got to spend the day with my sister at U of the Arts! It was CRAAAAAAAAZY! This was the first time i've ever gona on an actual train and by myself for that matter. There was this adorable little conductor who told me little stories about how this used to be a smoking bus and when you opeded the doors smoke came flying in your face and you couldn't see anyone! (he was funny little man!) Right when i got off the bus i saw this huge tower with william penn at the top and i took a picture with my phone, maybe to show cuneo...(what i'd do to have more time with cuneo...)Oh, and i got to meet all of lauries college friends. She's friends with a few theatre majors who are soooooo cool and she is also friends with a dance major from sweden! After i met lauries college friends, i went on this street called antique row and i went into this little shop that is run by this little old lady and she has a bazillion hat and coats and pins and earrings an they are all in perfect condition! She has hats from the 1930s to the 1980s and it was amaaaaaaazing. i bought this adorable red hat with a flower in the center that looked like it came right out of pretty and pink! I also went to this huge tower records and got a cd of this foreign soprano lady who sings a lotta mozart arias which intriqued me. I also got earrings from this cool guy who makes them right in philadelphia out of this cool glass stuff. Then i went to johnny rockets which was cool and we walked down south street. what a crazy street! Laurie decided to drag me into this store called condom kingdom. it is exactly what it sounds like. ON the ceiling are a bunch of sperm that appear to be swimming to the entrance. there was a whole lotta weird weird things in there that i don't care to go into detail about!Oh and then i went into this huge poster and bought this HUGE awesome casablanca poster that is currently hanging over my bed! YAY! Then i went into this little dress shop (mostly because it said 50% in the window) where i was greeted by these 2 little japanese woman who got me into buying a $40 dress which i thought seemed very cheap considering it is apparently from overseas (japan i think they said) and they only have about one version of each outfit, so the dress came in exactly one size! I think i might wear it for halloween cause it looks like i just stepped out of a doll house when i put it on! Its soooooo funny! but i really like it! I had soo much fun with my sister and i really miss her now that shes at college.
