Britain, I'm extremely disappointed in you. Have you forgotten the age-old tradition of sorting things out peacefully with a cup of tea?
I was really appalled and shocked to hear about such mindless vandalism and looting. What saddens me even more is that people feel that destroying homes and businesses are justifiable because they are 'broke' and 'aren't shown respect' (they interviewed some teenagers on Radio1 who actually said this. what the ever loving-). I understand that the situation in this country is grim right now but starting riots and getting arrested is not going to get you a job or respect. And we will be spending money which could be used elsewhere on bringing in extra police and cleaning up this mess.
I'm just hoping this stops as soon as possible and they don't need to call the army in.
