i did that twice already
So I just invented weekends? Like, I've got the day off--I begged my boss yesterday, it was pathetic, but I've been feeling really run-down after a stressful couple months and a very busy, active vacation (Martha and I went to Chicago and San Fran and did ALL THE THINGS). I was lying in bed (until ELEVEN) thinking, I want to bake something, I want to clean, I need to do laundry, and also I want to lie around reading old John/Rodney stories for a full eight to ten hours.
But that's too many things for one day!
I wish I had TWO days off. Yeah, that'd be awesome; two days, right in a row, where it's quiet and there aren't any people and I can be busy and productive one day and wallow for another day; man, I wish--
oh. Oh hey, a weekend. Look what I just created. \o?
Things are good, just busy. I haven't had much spare time, and I have extremely little spare brain energy.
What little spare brain energy I do have, I'm spending on Teen Wolf. I wasn't really into the first season and wouldn't have watched the second if Lea wasn't able to say, ACTUALLY, YOU WILL LIKE THIS PART. But damn do I ever like this part. The last three episodes have just, I can't even. I'm like, IN. I'M SO IN. SHOW ME MORE FAILY WEREWOLVES, MTV. I'M SO INTO THEMMMMMMMM.
But mostly I am in for Stiles. Stiiiiiiiiiiles. I really enjoyed how last night they blatantly objectified him--loving close-ups on his mouth! Let's highlight those long eyelashes! Yeah, defensive humor to cover your angst, bring it!--it was like catnip for Giddies.
And his dad, at the end of the episode--WHERE'S STILES? idk, but I NEED to know, right now, where's Stiles, BRING him to me, send Derek to bring him to me, omg, show. *_____*
RIDICULOUS.
Also, I really love how Teen Wolf via Tumblr is not the same show at ALL as Teen Wolf via canon. FANDOM. <3<3<3<3
I also REALLY LOVED the pilot of Political Animals. It filled the hole in my life where Hillary Clinton fanfiction had apparently needed to be! DID I MENTION THAT SIGOURNEY WEAVER IS PLAYING HILLARY CLINTON IN THIS HILLARY CLINTON FANFICTION. I haven't had a chance to download and watch the other episodes that've aired so far but really, that pilot was almost enough for me. *_________*
And now I am going to go drink water and eat food that isn't cookies--sorry Lea, I discovered cookies, I will bring you new ones, probably, *best roommate*--and watch the season finale of Person of Interest. This day is a good day. More fake-weekend. \o/
