is she the symptom or the cause?

I've noticed something strange...  Every drama that I have seen so far with Tabe Mikako has featured some pretty strange delusions.  It makes me wonder whether they were part of the script when she joined the cast or if she induces this in the writers like some psychotropic drug.  Or, I guess there's the option that her manager seeks out these series.  And now I must wonder about their sanity as well.

Fortunately, the Yasuko to Kenji ratio was not detrimental to my enjoyment of the series.  Even though there could have been a little less guttural growling involved.  That would have been nice.

Plot-wise, there isn't much to talk about with this series, IMO.  It's a fluff piece and I do believe that it's purpose is to be fun.  Mission accomplished.  At least I hope that there isn't some social moral hidden deep in the drama about the pitfalls of manga writing or something.  I guess it could be a social commentary on orphans?  Yeah, no.  I don't have the imagination to continue down that path of craziness.

But yeah, the series is a cute way to fritter away 8ish hours of life.  It's interesting to see the younger Okura, though I find it hard to believe that this came after Utahime.  I guess he wasn't ready to carry the spot of 3rd/4th lead in a series yet.  Glad his acting has gotten better!

Also, I <3 evil Yasu.  Especially with flat hair!
