Hisashiburi desu yo ne~ It's been quite a while since I was able to finish a drama...what with all of the panel and Lolita stuffs. But now that's over until November.
I have to say, about a minute and a half ago I was going to have a f*cking fit. But Rondo redeemed itself...after all, wiki lists it as a romance. And I do not accept the before-credits ending in a romance. In many ways, though, Rondo reminded me of Guilty...with all of it's twists and turns and usually subtle romance. Also, very, very attractive male leads - now I just need something with Takenouchi and Tamaki. I think then I could possibly die a happy woman.
All in all, Rondo was very good, IMO. I liked it a lot and I thought the plot - though not necessarily believable - was entertaining. One problem is that I had a hard time getting emotionally involved in Yuna's plot. I don't know if it was the language barrier, but I was mostly ambivalent to her character...that is until the twists really started to pick up. But even with the major - for lack of another, better word - twist in her story, I still didn't care. And I was so uncaring that I don't know that I really bought it. Besides, she doesn't look Japanese to me.
On a side note, Hayami Mokomichi being all tan, angry and well-armed...YUM!
