LADY is finished. I probably would have had it done sooner, but I was grappling with the mp4 too long. Unsurprisingly, the file won.
So, I watched 2 cop dramas this season. It's surprising, really, considering I don't usually go for them, but they both had good casts. And daddy issues, but I already covered that... I wonder what would have happened if I had gotten around to picking up Deka Wanko or Quartet. Looks like Winter 2011 was the season for crime and Spring is all about the human dramas. Oh well, it'll give me time to get through some old stuffs.
Kitagawa Keiko's performance was pretty good, IMO. It was interesting to see her play so cold throughout all of that. The other investigators were good characters as well. I would have liked more back story on them. It really felt like we were just skimming the surface. Maybe they'll get another season and we can learn more about them. They could call it GENTLEMAN, or something.
The cases, however, were pretty brutal. I mean, not dull chainsaw on CSI brutal. But with the types of shows that I've gotten used to on Japanese TV, it was pretty harsh. That first one (which may not have connected to the overall plot, but in my opinion it was still the best)... I might never look at Daigo the same way again.
Keeper: too many issues. gave up.
Tissues: not that kind of drama
Resolution: for Keiko's character, 8.4
Overall: solid A
BTW, I've noticed that my posts for currently airing dramas have been really lacking lately. I think that it's because I can't remember a lot of what happened after 10+ weeks.... So I'm going to play the super-nerd card. I'm going to take notes. It'll also help for those nights (like this one) when I'm finishing as I'm falling asleep. We'll see how long this lasts.
