A Fangirl's dream come true.
Now that I think about it, I could make this post about many things... like how last weekend was my first real Johnny's dream. Not one of those mornings where I wake up feeling the presence on Nino in the back of my brain. But that's not what this is about. No, this is about Chonmage Purin. Which, if it had more boy-love, might qualify for fanfiction on DVD.
It was like Johnny-san himself was trolling LJ sites reading posts. I mean, who wouldn't want Nishikido Ryo to show up out of the blue and start baking pastries for you and all of your friends?! I mean, really... Even better, he'll clean your house, babysit, and straighten-up any bratty kids in the area. And in my opinion, calling me you "woman" in extreme condescension is the Domyoji-flavored icing on the cake. There is one thing that would have made it better, IMHO...and that would have been more shirtlessness. I don't know why this wasn't taken into account.
All in all, it was a very enjoyable movie. I told the ladies at work about it and the premise is a bit on the embarrassing side. I guess that makes it all the better.
And Ryo was fantastic. The way his took control of things alone was enough to kill me. Add the swords and cooking... I wonder what the medical term would be for death by ovary explosion. A!!!!
So, I just voted for the HNA special... *flails* The outfits themselves - I didn't think they were the greatest. I didn't even vote for the one that looked so much like Sho that I can't imagine anyone else in it. But I contributed!!!!!! With more than just my bank account! *so proud* And then, when I thought about it, I started to mist up. Not quite a full cry with tears, but enough to clog my sinuses. I'm so pathetic, ne~
Okay, now I'm going to reminisce on my fantastic MatsuJun dream some more..... ^_^
Edit: Had to mention that I'm totally flailing over Johnnys photos on the drama sites. Yoko's pic on his Control profile completely surprised me!
