Here’s the thing. I like to post anonymemes every few months. I like to give people a chance to say things they can't or won't say either in their real lives or in their journals. Sometimes we all need to just talk or vent or bitch or complain without fear of repercussion. I am all for freedom of expression, and I don't believe in censoring people whether they decide to attach a name to what they say or not. I also realize a lot of people object to anonymous memes, and if you are one of these people, you are certainly not required to comment. However, going out of your way to make a rude comment to someone else in my journal, whether logged in or not, is not cool. You are always free to direct any and all criticism to me in my journal (logged in or anonymous) or in a private email, but being a jerk to my friends pisses me off. For now, anonymous, I am letting your comment stand as is. I’ve replied to you directly, as has the person to whom you addressed your original comment. Any further shenanigans and/or rudeness, however, will see the entire thread deleted.
Now, in more pleasant news:
I am the co-owner of a new community, bestdamndress! That’s right, silentdescant and I are finally getting off our lazy asses and getting together some of our co-written fic to post, and we figured we needed a separate place to put all of our ficcish (and not so ficcish) endeavors. At this stage, everything we write is likely to be of the bandom variety, mostly Frank/Gerard, so if you are at all interested, please do come over and feel free to watch the comm. First fic will be going up VERY soon!
