Happy Valentine's Day!
Happy pink & red hearts and flowers and chocolate day, flist! It's time for the now traditional Valentine's Day Lust List Meme! This year I have 14 photos of people after whom I lust now and then, and there are even explanations. Granted, they may only make sense to me, but I tried.
1. Elijah Wood - Because, well, of course. Lijhers has been my pretend!boyfriend for almost three years now, and I think it’s good that I still lust after him. Plus, pink shirt.
2. Linus Roache - I have no idea what he’s doing playing an American district attorney on Law & Order every Wednesday night, but I’m not complaining in the least. Also, he was quite good as Samuel Taylor Coleridge in Pandaemonium.
3. David Tennant - Hello, Doctor! (No further explanation necessary, right?)
4. Alan Rickman - Please overlook the fact that Alancakes is old enough to be my father. He’s lovely and talented and makes me swoon a bit.
5. James May - I couldn’t care less about cars, to be honest, but I love Top Gear and James (oh, hell, and Richard and Jeremy as well), Captain Slow or not.
6. Cate Blanchett - Beyond being utterly beautiful, I rather love Cate in everything I’ve seen her in. She’s just amazing.
7. Gordon Ramsay - He’s snarky, foul-mouthed, and he can cook. What more could you possibly want in a man? Also, I find him quite nice to look at.
8. Elvis Costello - For those of you who don’t understand the attraction (no pun intended!) I don’t think I could even begin to explain. He’s a geeky musician and I like him.
9. Richard Hammond - Alright, go on then, since I’ve got James on the list, it’s only fair to have Hamster as well. He’s just so cute and enthusiastic, how could you not love him?
10. Viggo Mortensen - Self-explanatory, yes?
11. Daniel Radcliffe - This choice, I’d rather not explain. Please don’t make me.
12. Sean Bean - Why, oh why do I always seem to go for the older men? Oh, right, it’s because they bring flowers for the occasion!
13. Orlando Bloom - Well, since Bean brought flowers, Orlish has brought something to drink. See? Thoughtful and pretty!
14. James McAvoy - Rather a new obsession lust object for me, JMcA is kind of perfect in every way, at least in my head. And he’s Scottish, so there’s that.
