Travels.
This weekend I went to MACROCK. It was pretty cool. I only went for the first day. I saw lots of cool bands. I also saw some really lame ones. I got pretty drunk with the RVA kids. That was a good time. We we went a house party. It was nuts. We all got pretty high. We ended sleeping on these hippies porch. We woke up bright and early and skipped out of town.
The next night I went to Baltimore to see Video Hippos, Health, an Ponytail at new wham city. It kinda sucked. There were a lot of weird folks there. A lot of really hot girls were making out with really ugly dudes, or so it seemed. It kinda made me angry, but I am pretty hot, so maybe I just need to put my self out there. Everyone has been telling me that talking to girls isn't that hard. It is for me, but I just need to work on it. The bands were really good, but the crowd danced like idiots. It really made me mad. During the last song Ponytail played these kids threw me like a foot ball. No one caught me and I landed on my knees. I thought the were broken.
I spent the next day in bed unable to walk.
Brit and I had a pretty good talk about life on the way home from Baltimore. I need to get more driven about life. Things are hard right now, and I am re-programing myself, but I am going to get through this.
Last night I saw Snack Truck. The new lineup is sick. Prog as shit. I totally dig it. It is nice hanging out at The Velvet.
I forgot how good the Beatles White album is. I feel it often gets thrown off to the side, because it was so a head of its time, but shitgoddamm, what a good album. For those of you who don't know my my mom and dad named me from the song "Rocky Raccoon". I don't know I often felt tired of the Beatles, mainly because the are so ingrained in to everyone's mind as one of the best bands ever. Well they are really good and their music has lasted though the years, and is timeless.
I need to learn how to fix my Korg ploy 600. Shit is acting goofy.
