Despite the whirlwind of shit which is Gideon circa the summer of 2007, one of the most amazing moments of my life happened yesterday. My bike has had problems for some time now, and I finnally took it to city (shitty) bikes too get my de-railer fixed. The guy who worked there was an asshole, but did manage to get my bike to working condition again. I am not too enthusiastic about bike culture, but I really do love riding my bike. Getting back on it was like putting your favorite t-shirt, the one you have worn so much its soft and faded. I darted down Columbia Rd and on to 18th. The rock n' roll Macdonald's was playing Prince's "Lets go crazy" so I slowed down because Prince is the shit! As soon as I slowed down this older man was staring at me and I started singing along. Then he started singing along. Then at the chorus we both belted it out. The song stopped and we kept moving in our different directions.
