I'm cold and lonely! Situation normal.
In other news, I have a New Year's Eve wedding to go to for my cousin Abby later. For some reason, I'm just not all that enthusiastic about it, and Papa doesn't seem well enough to go. Honestly, of everyone, he'd probably be the happiest person to be there next to the bride and groom. Oh, well, at least I'm not in this wedding, so I can just show up, sit there, and pretend to enjoy the reception. I might not bother with that last part, but I'll be in the general area of the reception trying not to suck the life out of everything. It's the least I can do besides not show up.
Who knows, my attitude might turn completely around before it's over with, but right now I feel inexplicably rotten.
Did I mention the guy's a well off mortician? Hoo.
