The Waiting Room Played "Turn the Beat Around"

After countless drill bits and high powered lasers vs. my gums, and some or other additional laser based heating device that left my mouth partially smoking for a second or two, that's two root canals and one filling down. It was going to be three, but he decided the decay wasn't bad enough for all that on the third. Far from over, but I'll beat my hereditarily horrible enamel and phobia of medical rooms yet. They're a little sore, but after the wisdom teeth, that was really nothing.

The only problem was that the combination of the medicine he gave me to calm myself down before the operation and double shot of anesthetic along with my normal white coat syndrome based anxiety, nearly made me pass out just before we began. (They weren't even doing anything at that point, just taking before pictures for reference.) So, it was like fainting...almost fainting...and being kind of stuck in that weird colored vision and half-deaf before pass out state for ten minutes or more, I kind of lost track of the time. Not fun, but after that, smooth. Just had to let things wear off and now he knows to use less powerful stuff with me next time. Oh, and their remedy was awesome; They gave me Dr Pepper to balance out my system. And it worked.

So, yeah. I pretty much have fully operational teeth again, just no rending countless apples or anything until they're set right and I have my next visit. The worst complaint I can think of is that they taste kind of weird, but they feel and look no worse than they did prior to my problems and probably a bit better.

After that, went to see Papa. They've got the official Papa's Chair throne replaced with a hospital bed in the living room, before the official Braves Baseball Viewing Device. He can stand and all, but he's still needing the wheel chair a bit so he doesn't over work himself. Point being, he seems content, and mom's moving her stuff gradually back here out of their house, and things will probably be back to as normal as they ever were.

*bounces Game Stop bag in lap*

After that, mom and I, having not done anything for our day apart birthdays back in April, went out and grabbed a few random things for eachother. Even rummaged some anime out of the used movies section and figured what the hey, yoink.

Came out with:
Lain (Nine bucks!)
Vampire Hunter D
Signs
Megaman Legends (Only ever played the second one; six bucks!)
Megaman X Command Mission
Star Ocean: Till the End of Time
Xenosaga II

Then we stopped by Nana and Papa's again because she demanded to stuff food into us, and here I am. Peas and rice, somehow, when cooked by Nana, are the most delicious thing in existence while you're eating it. Much like anything else she makes that I'd normally like. It becomes passionate love with my mouth.

Not quite the end of the day, we'll see where the wheel lands for what I do next~

And I do believe that dentist had more fun with my mouth than any woman ever has. He's...almost troublingly excited. But he does good work, and I think I'm better off with someone just that into what he's doing.
