i love this.
for all the issues you have with your writing or whatever i think your style is absolutely perfect for patrick's voice. the circular way that he focuses closer and closer to the essence of something, the way he refers outside of and then inside of himself.
and now they're all cuddly and falling asleep together. ugh so comfortable and 'home'. lovely.

i do have a question, though. how exactly are web site interviews usually conducted? because i kept picturing patrick and web site guy on like, webcams, or something, and so when pete called during the interview, i was like, uh-oh, and THEN WHEN HE SHOWED UP? i was like, THIS CAN ONLY END BADLY. so. can you, um, explain it to me?

In my head the first part is a real interview, Patrick sitting across the table from some guy, but the bit later is that night in the hotel, Patrick working on the Cobra's stuff when Pete calls. So, no it's not during the interview. :D
I've tweaked it a little and given it a proper, visual break. See if that works for you better?
Thanks, I'm glad you liked Pete. :D

(My brain is currently locked into beta mode after a 70-page fic, so I'm going to be that annoying person who says 'hey, you've got a couple typos' at I know your day isn’t’ going according (extra apostrophe), Pete grinned again and went other bathroom (other -> into the) and Dud could take the fastest showers (Dud -> Dude).)

That sort of dependency can be debilitating and it's exhausting there are lots of things about it that change how you function, but it's not necessarily a bad thing--depending on the people involved. I don't know, a lot of my OTPs have this aspect to them and I'm aware of how damaging it can be, but it's also so wonderful, with the right people.
Thanks again :D
