So after a great couple of hours of talking and hanging out with Kathryn, a long and particularly horrible weekend at the hardware store, a lot of soul searching, and a dispicable inability to focus on anything else, last night I wrote Steve Laubaugh an email telling him that I intend to go back to Algonquin for a fourth summer. There are certain things that I'm not excited about and It is going to take a couple of painful sacrifices on my part, but I considered it till my head and stomache both hurt and I determined that there is no place I would rather be than on the banks of the mighty Cow Pee Creek. I've already started organizing and ordering supplies. And Kathryn, if there is anything you need from the hardware store for the camp, you should take advantage of my discount while I am still employed there. Getting things at cost is usually a lot better than just not paying tax.

I wasted the entire weekend. Other than hanging out with Kathryn on Friday night, when I wasn't at work I did jack-shit. Got nothing accomplished. It was particularly boring and lonely because Jon works nights and I work days which means I'll go for days at a time without even seeing my best friend even though I live with the silly bastard. On Sunday night Tracy called me to help keep herself from falling asleep at the wheel. That was kind of nice and actually a little fun. She kept cutting out and it sounded like something from a horror movie. Sorry if I freaked you out Tracy! Did you know that Atlanta is the elk capitol of Michigan? I didn't.

I have no idea what we'll do on Saturday if there is no snow. Maybe we could go mud-sledding. Either way though I'm looking forward to seeing Amanda aka Miss Willer.

Some of my sister's friends are on Facebook now. Just another reminder that my baby sis isn't a baby.
Not that I ever treated her like one, which I regret now that we're older.

Finally, I'm super excited and nervous about the continuation of the student teaching pre-lims I should get my letter on Thursday and on Friday I will find out if I passed any of my Certification tests.

Keep you stick on the ice.
