Day 18: Five Favorite Ships (romantic or friendship)
1. Gibbs/DiNozzo (romantic). Gibbs/DiNozzo just scream to me of love and trust and understanding and obsession and sex and fun and contentment. Tony is Gibbs' go to guy, his number one, his most trusted agent and that continues in fanon. To Tony, Gibbs' is the rock, the relationship that will never let him down (Mexico excluded of course, but hey, the guy just got out of a COMA!).
2. Abby/Gibbs (friendship/father-daughter). I first wrote Abby/Gibbs, but after a while realized they were more suited as friends/father-daughter. Again, Gibbs gives Abby that foundation she needs and Abby gives Gibbs a family.
3. Tim/Tony (both romantic and friendship). Besides Tibbs, McNozzo is the ship that could work the best. They're already friends, and they have so much fun together the next step is easy, just a tumble into bed and a few well placed lubed fingers...oh, sorry. Getting away from the subject a bit. As friends, they work because they each have strengths and play those strengths off each other so well.
4. Tony/Abby (friendship). Though it's more in fanon than canon, I love the idea of Abby and Tony being close.
5. Abby/McGee and McGee/Ziva (romantic). Though I think Abby and Tim are destined for each other, for some reason I've been drawn to McGiva lately and it disturbs me by how hot it could be.
Honorable mention goes to Tony/Tim/Ziva working again as a TEAM. No Tiva anvils, not too much sniping, just some fun followed by solid teamwork and trust.
I know I'm leaving out Gibbs/Fornell, Gibbs/Ducky, Gibbs/Holly Snow (!), Gibbs/Borin, Tony/Paula, Kate/Tony, but Nikki said five and this is it.
