So, today is favorite male character. And really, it's no contest.
Leroy Jethro Gibbs.
From his ridiculous but fitting name, to his penchant for going rogue, is there any character on TV so multi-layerd? I don't think so. He's got a tortured past, but by evidence of the three ex's, a romantic streak. He can be a strict black and white kind of cop, but bends the law when it suits him and his idea of justice. He's protective of those he considers his, and doesn't trust outsiders at all, even those in the same agency.
Mark Harmon plays this character with subtlety, style and class. He holds the cast together in a way that Gibbs holds his team together. You get the feeling that any of them would do for Harmon what their characters would do for Gibbs.
And really, it doesn't hurt that he's hot as fuck, either!
