OMG YES!
OMG! I totally had to join this community! I don't know where else to express my deep, passionate, fervent love and admiration for Joshamee Gibbs, first mate extraordinaire! I see that no one else has posted for a while, so I hope this post will lure some other Gibb lovers back. We need to show solidarity, we are a small but certainly mighty group!
I went to see POTC:DMC on friday with my stupid cousin who would not shut up about "Oh, Norrington's sooo hot now, look at his hot scruffy beard, look at him guzzle that rum!" yet when I venture meekly to add that "I like Gibbs" she nearly went into hysterics! I mean, really! Gibbs has been sporting a scruffy beard and guzzling rum since the first movie! She's such a stupid whore!
Anyway, sorry to go off like that, I don't want anyone to think that I'm an angry person, I just get really worked up when fangirls fawn over every pretty face that comes along, and miss the truly astonishing characters like Gibbs.
This is like Agent Skinner all over again for me.
