boing

This is more like it. After a dry spell of - what? a month and a half? - I'm lined up for two interviews this afternoon. All I had to do was lower my employer expectations.

._.

They're jobs, anyway. The first interview I have is 3.30p at the Coffee Quarter; they aren't a huge corporation, so I would imagine working there would be quite pleasant. (EDIT: 11/19/06 - OMGLOLZ, so wrong.) I've been there for tea. Cosy place. The second interview is with a work-at-home executive woman who needs a personal assistant. Something to do with organising her home office and computer databases, along with other menial tasks. I'm a little iffy on that one. If it's like being something of a twenty-first century female butler(?), then I could imagine myself as the Jeeves of the plot, effortlessly correcting all that is mangled and disorganised in this woman's life.

If it's housekeeping, I'm so out.

OH, amberism. The Tain? You were right. And I will use the appropriate icon to illustrate my sentiments.

job hunting sucks, decemberists
