Stop While I am Ahead?

The sickness is starting to go away!!! The only thing I feel now is dizziness for some reason, but hey, no fever. Sorry for not taking a day off, but I am already losing hours due to school, but you were right, I should have. Us men never listen, we are tough! Anyways, last night was poker night with the guys at work, so hey, gotta go right? I went with 40 dollars, came back with none.

The new director, Chris Breaux came in with 200 dollars in chips, and we all bought in with 10 to 20 at first. Here is how bad he was, he played every hand, no chance for bluffing. Even worse, if I would have had the money to play every hand, I would have won once. Every other hand, somebody played that had me beat. I tried to bluff, but of course, like I said, my boss played every hand. It was by far the worse poker night I have ever had. I caught face cards 5 times all night, after 4 hours. I had big slick once, and so did another guy, and my boss hit the flush on the river.... it was painful. The only good thing that came out of it is that we all got to have fun and a little alcohol in all of them made it quite interesting. (We won't go into that). Good ol' work buddies. It's really different working with people who are at least 7 years older than me, all the way to about 16 years older than me now. I think the only reason I like it is the fact that we are all easy going and play a lot of jokes on each other.

To illustrate, Jody, whom is 26, and me get along the easiest, of course. We are always shutting each other down and setting others up for jokes and stuff, but when its between him and me, it gets ugly. It got to the point Friday that Seth (network consultant) and I had thought that he went to the HR IDF (Human Resources hub room) and unplugged my computer from the switch. We both started laughing and I ran down to the IDF to laugh at him, but quickly realized the network had crashed, and Jody was working on somebodies computer. The laughter ended there. I ran back to get Seth, and we took off to the IDF for lots of fun (insert sarcasm). After a while, we checked the Cisco 3750's and they said they had just been powered down, the entire room had lost power. Thank you Maintenance.

Oh well, today is spent mowing, English paper, Good Will for western clothes, work on movie, and on call of course. Somebody save me!
