I was trying to think of ways to improve my German today, and my first thought was "Find a German TV show!". My second thought was "Find anime dubbed into German!".
So I went on amazon.de and started looking at HGJ German discs. I found the following excerpt in the blurb on the back of the first DVD:
"Als jedoch der führende Mafia-Boss der Stadt stirbt und sein exzentrischer Sohn Clair Leonelli die Nachfolge seines Vaters antritt..."
"Exzentrischer" is just about the best way I've ever heard official materials describe that boy. For those who don't read German (...almost everyone reading this? o.o;;;), it's a cognate...
props also to germany for leaving off the potential "e" in "clair"...
and crack!props to the back of volume 2, which uses the word "Gangsterboss"...
