I'm so tired of getting parking tickets for street sweeping, that I wrote a python script that SMSs my cell phone 24 hours before the event, telling me which side my car needs to be parked on. I post it here for posterity. The constructor for Sweep() takes an "odd" and "even" argument, which you can use to plug in your street sweeping days.

If you need help remembering to hand-wash your merkin once a week, this also might fit.
